EXPERT MASONRY
PEORIA, IL / CENTRAL IL
Welcome to European Masonry, where old-world craftsmanship meets modern expertise. With over 30 years of experience in the masonry industry, our foundation is built on a deep appreciation for timeless stonework and an unwavering commitment to quality. My journey as a mason began in Italy, where I spent two decades mastering the art of Florentine stonework, antique restoration, and architectural masonry. Now, I bring that expertise to Peoria, IL, providing top-tier masonry services tailored to residential and commercial properties alike.
Our Expertise in European Masonry
Masonry is more than just construction; it is an art form that requires precision, skill, and a passion for craftsmanship. Having honed my skills in Italy, I specialize in:
- Florentine Stone Work: Inspired by the architecture of Florence, I create breathtaking stone structures that reflect the elegance of European design.
- Restoration of Antique Stone Work: Preserving the beauty of historical stone structures is a core part of my expertise. Aged façade or a historic building, I restore it to its original splendor.
- Chimney Repair and Rebuilding: Chimneys endure harsh weather and constant exposure to the elements. Our chimney repair ensures they remain safe, functional, and visually appealing.
- Tuckpointing: Restoring mortar joints is crucial for maintaining the structural integrity of brickwork. My tuckpointing services enhance durability and aesthetics.
- Architectural Walkways: From intricate stone pathways to brick paver walkways, I create elegant and durable surfaces that elevate any property.

Are your bricks crumbling?
Tuckpointing & Repointing
Tuckpointing and repointing are essential masonry services for maintaining and enhancing brick structures.
Repointing involves removing deteriorated mortar from brick joints and replacing it with new mortar, restoring structural integrity and preventing water intrusion that can lead to damage such as mold and wood rot.
Tuckpointing, developed in 18th-century England, uses two contrasting mortar colors to create the illusion of fine joints, improving both the appearance and durability of brickwork. By addressing mortar deterioration, these services prevent further damage from the elements, extend the lifespan of walls and chimneys, and preserve the aesthetic appeal of buildings. In Peoria, IL, professional masonry contractors like Peoria Masons are able to help you with your tuckpointing and repointing projects.
Peoria Masons offer expert tuckpointing and repointing services. These local experts ensure that your masonry structures remain safe, durable, and visually appealing, providing top-quality craftsmanship and reliable service.
